Intangible

This piece explores the atmospheric phenomena of fog and mist which stems from an experience in Venice. The subject matter is Lincoln Cathedral from my home city. It combines 3D printing and core casting to produce positive and negative space. Various sized granules of glass, coloured glass powder, and ingots, as well as using the depth of glass allow me to control the level of visibility.

Materials: Cast glass consisting of manually made and sorted frit, glass powder, ingots.

Dimensions: H120 x W200 x D150 mm

Weight: Approx. 8 kg
