AI Anxiety
This artwork represents the political, sociological and psychological fears and concerns around Artificial Intelligence.
Worldwide debates have discussed use and regulation. People fear that machines will take their jobs, invade their privacy, and overwrite their programming, annihilating humans in the fight for their survival. AI has even learned how to imitate human writing style, despite sentences being nonsensical. AI is represented by a human-like head and brain, core-cast into transparent glass. The brain’s neurons, binary coding, phobias/concerns, and the cold, dead stare of an emotionless eye are sandblasted into the front. A circuit board is used to represent the computer.
